Rennsport Reunion V
Not very long ago we told you to mark your calendars for Rennsport Reunion V. Well, we should have told you to do so in pencil because the date is changing which is causing some craziness for those wanting to attend.
The reason for the date change is a scheduling conflict with the World Endurance Champion (WEC) racing series. The date for the all Porsche racing car event at Laguna Seca was changed to allow for the 919 Hybrid, 911 RSR and current racing drivers to be able to attend.
“We felt it would be in the best interest for all parties to take this unusual step and move the date,” said Detlev von Platen, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. “By moving Rennsport Reunion V ahead two weeks, we ensure that our current 919 Hybrid LMP1 and 911 RSR race teams, and more importantly, our new generation of racing heroes can join our racing legends and be part of the festivities among our many fans.”
The new dates are now September 25th-27th. So, mark your calendars again and this time you should be able to use preeminent ink.
